a celebrity backed camp appeal, the Yellow Ribbon campaign, boycott campaign and a large Tamil awareness concert which is planned for the end of the year. However, we are limited to what we can achieve due to the lack of resources so we call upon you today to get involved and help fund these campaigns.

We are very aware of what we need to do to achieve our goals but without your support this will be impossible. I am also aware that many people are disheartened at the lack of response from the international community and many people are depressed but it's now time to get back up and fight!

Recent reports, citing senior aid officials, have indicated that as many as 1400 civilians are dying each week in the camps of northern Sri Lanka. The question we have to ask ourselves is, “are we doing enough?” The answer is NO.

Please remember the Tamils in Vanni have lost their lives, they have lost their loved ones, they have lost their limbs, they have had their dignity taken away and now those that have survived live in fear of rape, murder, torture and extrajudicial killings. All we have to give up is our time and some money. We are their only hope, we are all they have, so please Act Now and donate.

Act Now is a non profit organisation. The more funding we receive, the more we can achieve. Please contact us if you wish to get involved in any of our campaigns.

As we seek to make people aware, Act Now continues to fight for the freedom and dignity of the Tamil people in Sri Lanka. We have a number of campaigns running, including lobbying the British government at our parliamentary meetings, raising awareness and gaining supporters in Non-Tamil constituencies,
